Viv's Shared Lunch

Three gentlemen and three ladies

On Sunday 29th March around forty guests enjoyed a wonderfully warm Autumn afternoon mixing, chatting and meeting new friends at Viv's lovely Oaklands Park home.

The format was a Shared Lunch. Each person brings a plate to share along with their drinks. The spread of food is usually impressive.

These gatherings are smaller but more laid back and relaxed than our evening house parties, which feature more music and dancing.

As a special treat, one of our guests entertained us with some impromptu live music. Nick is a highly experienced restaurant musician with an excellent voice. He charmed us with a good selection of crooner standards, particularly the popular Spanish and Italian-style songs delivered with a pleasant Romanian accent. He is available for this type of work in Adelaide and we can recommend him for it.

Shared lunches have long been a hit with our social network, particularly for newcomers. We hope to have a full program of them this year.

We have another of these on May 3rd at Helene's Glenside home.
