Impressed guests is the name of the game in the hotel industry. On Friday 3rd February the Marion Hotel at Mitchell Park achieved exactly that for sixty of us. The meals and service were first rate. We dined in the lovely Mitchell Room which has a warm and friendly atmosphere along with highly appealing decor.

After the meal we moved into the main dining room where fab duo "Boris Loves To Boogie" played up a storm. We danced and chatted the night away in a classy establishment which emits lots of good vibes. Feedback was overwhelmingly in favour of a return to this venue in the near future.

Over 80 guests attended a Friday Night Dinner/Dance at the Rex Hotel, Marleston last Friday 11th November. It really was shades of the 'old days' of a few years a go when that number regularly attended each week.

'Good Company' entertained us in the dining room with some quiet, romantic songs during the dinner period and they provided a blast of good old Rock 'n' Roll dance music afterwards. The dance floor was crowded from the start, as is usual with our guests and we partied well into the evening.

As always, the staff at the fabulous Rex did their very best for us under the watchful eye of enthusiastic manager Trevor Smith, so there's no wonder we keep returning for more. Our next Dinner/Dance there will most likely be on a Saturday night in January on a night when 'Good Company' are playing there.
